This year the motto of the festival was concentrated on “Against Racism” policy and all the festivities symbolized the unity and equality of human beings with the wonderful help of Rock & Metal music. Wacken grown a lot since the very start, much more than even the organizers ever imagined. When the first meeting in the fields of Elba’s Estuary took place in front of only 800 people, nobody dreamed that after 15 incredible years this site will gather more than 35.000 fans from all around the world.
